Weave cards are known to favour only Weave cards, and the homestead is no exception.  The two effect that it conveys are advantageous in an all Weave environment.  The cost may seem exceptionally high at first glance, but with the additional energy that the card would be giving, the resulting payback is greater than the cost, particularly in a relic heavy deck.  The artwork is photoshopped from the promotional piece that 2i put out for Weave.
